EURO race comments China Shanghai

Post by dutch power »

Well what to say first time that i open this topic, has been a long time since i got taken out so quickly.

Had a brilliant start strarting in 3th i managed to pass drago and firefly in the inside of t1 so came out of it in first, then the first hairpin i get taken out by firefly. I dont blame him anything, he was overtaking drago and to me it looks like he completely missed his braking point and i was just there making the corner and there was no place to go for him. So i got hit in the rear and spun, i tried to go futher but the first corner i made i felt that something was completly wrong with rear suspension, so i decided to call it a day i was not motivated enough to try to drive a damaged car for 56 laps around this track.

Next time better luck i guess, just sad i was hoping for good results and wanted to have 2nd place in champ but thats out of reach now for sure as roadrunner will take that one im pretty sure he will finish china. 8)

I can't say a lot about this race as it was a total disaster, and it was my fault.

Once again I got overtaken by 2 cars at the start - this seems to happen in every race. I tried to re-pass Drago at turn 3 but I braked too late and crashed into the side of Mark (he was in the lead at the time). Quite unbelievably I didn't have any major damage after the crash so I continued.

I did a drive through straight after the crash as I had caused it.

I felt pretty shit at this point, knowing I had taken Mark out of the race, and when I left the pits I was in last place.

Somehow Drago ended up around the same place as me on track (we were both at the back of the field) - I saw his car stationary a few times so I assume he had some connection problems, although I don't know if that's what caused him to drop so far back.

I followed Drago and we both made up some places, but when i went in for my pit stop it was predicted as 65 seconds due to damage. The damage actually wasn't affecting my car so I didn't want it fixed, but I didn't know how to stop this.

My car overheated during the stop as I didn't turn the engine off, and that was the end of my race.

I don't really care about not finishing today, I just feel bad about ending Marks' race. I'm sorry.

Congratulation to RR, who manage to finish the race alone. Must be little lonely for the last 17laps, wth no friends around the track 8)

Yes, this it was....but no problem for me.

It is very important for me to drive a full race distance and a good practice too.
