I had that happen to me once too Kaffe......really damn irritating......it was at Malaysia and the engine just died 35 laps or so into the race...

Kafee i think your the 3rd one this year to have a dead engine. Even Paul (or Juan) who blow his engine in qualif, lol. Failure are set to normal, you maybe didnt notice, but if you had been victime of too mutch draft, you engine may suffered alot fo it. Nice race anyway you did, i saw you in back of me in chronos, you were little far behind, but race is never over untill you reatch finish line.

I already finish a race few meter before finish, empty of fuel, that was also frustrating, lol.

actually, :) , i think that 3 on one season is 3 too many - since there is no way to control it as it is in real life. The sad thing is that i was kinda alone for most of the race, though it wold have been nice to catch you flow... dont think i was too far behind, was it 4 or something?, but after my flip the car was a tad wobbely :D :D so i just went for finishing. contrats to the second place finish btw flow!

Congrats to Drago for the victory.
My start went ok but i braked early and kaffemaskin squeezed his nose in there and got by.My race was over on the first long straight.I put on 5 more degrees front and back hoping that I could keep up then outcorner...Bad move...195 or so on the straights compared to the 205 I am used to.I just watched everyone go Bye,Bye.Some good battles but without the top speed I was a sitting duck.Again...If it ain't broke ...don't fix it....guess I shoulda left well enough alone..hahahaha...but still we made a good replay to watch over the winter break.Thats all that matters...that and beer...yep...and sex...and drugs....and of course...Rock and roll.Did I leave anything out???whew...no...cuz without beer...life would be clear and not so blurry...
can't have that while racing...Thanks to DAn the MAn for such a rock stable server...excellent work m8...and to the administration....well...hard work paid off and the season was a success...Heres to the only place you CAN drink and drive...NAR RULEZ...you can find me in the virtual bar hitting on the A.I waitresses. :D :D :D

Lo Carrera.

Kafee, the way you set your gearing, the way you drive, draft, damage in a collision can affect your engine life. At begining of season, an engine set to 2 was blowing in my face for shure. I was using 4-3 and as the season was going on, i played alot with my gear, and set a rev limit, and ensure that i never top my rev engine even in downshift with telemetry, withc alow me to make the second half of season with an engine rad set at 2. Yeah 2, and my temp were never over 109 and 120 for water. I always check that. I had overheat in Malaysia, had to slow a little to cool engine. You just didnt get lucky!

OMG OMG OMG !!!!!!

That was nerve racking to say the least.
I was not used to all those cars on the grid an the excitment was at a level I wasn't able to control that great...LMAO
It was also odd to always have someone up your ass the whole way, I am sure we are all used to the pack spreading out after a few laps allowing us to gain our concentration but this was AWESOME!!!!! always on edge.

SORRY to anyone who I might have touched or got in your way LOL the only thing I really remember at the moment was my battle with my teammate AARON WOW the pressure was on we swapped places a couple of times till that dam corner got me again thats twice this year DAM IT ALL. HEHEHEHE :)

AMAZING 06 season gentlemen and a very special thanks to you ADMINS for your commitment and hard work to make NAR a very very special league and make us all proud to be a part of.
WELL DONE guys

I also will be working on the tracks during the winter break touching up and re texturing stuff so when they are ready and you want them just check the OFFICIAL TRACKS thread once and a while to download them.

If I don't see anyone during the winter months MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR and stay safe we want everyone back for the 07 season.

[NAR] Steve BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB :)

Now I will get ready for my B DAY tomorrow WOOOOOOOO HOOOOOO!!!

Hello All
Congrates to Drago and Everyone

Thanks to all in NAR Admins and Drivers.
This is a speicial place to be.

Well my Race was ok
I was very shaking at the start so I took my time and lost a few places.
First lap I clipped the wall loseing wings and damaging my suspension.
Got wings repaired put the suspension was just trashed.
I was going to pull out but I just could not do it last race and all so I decided to stay push If I can and stay out of the way and use this as a testing. I hope that I stayed clear of everyone if not my applogizes.

To my surprise I made up some time and got up into 11 & 10 positions from I think 18th. the rest of the positions came from DNF so I made it into the points with a car that no matter what was about 5 secounds off pace
Well a fun race was great to have everyone there.

Cu Guys durring the winter I hope don't be Strangers

Hey STEVEBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB

Happy Birthday

Hitman 8)
I might not be fast, But I am ahead of you.

Hi guys!
Thanks for the fun!

My race was difficult and I made it diffcult myself!
first my set...... didnt drive on friday and saturday and instead of trying to go faster, I get satisfied with a set (race)that as 2s slower than the fastest guys!
result I ve decided to change my set 1h before race.
lower wing and no practice at all---> disaster, and impossible to get a descent lap!

after I ve got great figth on track! but allways fair! I run wide many time(3-4 times perhaps) at the beginning due to my set last minutes changes :(.
I ve spin 2 times in the same place.... first time lap 2 and loose 7 place!
I was behind Juan G, I overtook him after I ve got 2 Ferrari fighting in front of me I overtook them too and after my progress was due to race incident and retirement.
I had a great figtht getting back to 4th place with killa and roadrunner after I was 12s behind Kaff and 12-14s in front of killa, at lap 38 I was going to take a lap to phil when I made a stupid mistake... I wanted to put more pressure to Kaff so I ve decided to try going faster..... result: too wide attacking a long curve and I spun at 300 , locked my tires by braking with all my strenght and directly to the wall....The END.

If I would I ve known that Kaff will broke his engine I would have gone more quietly!!!!

I want to thanks all the great team of nar from the admin, race hosters to the very drivers!
It was foolish of me to think that I could be fast enougth after 4-5 month of inactivity! (lost my motivation, work problems, familly problems.. the wrong year for me infact)
When I checked my best lap and my best theoric lap I understood that It was not my set or my driving which cause me not to be enough fast but the fact that I didnt have consistency ....

I want to congratulate you all for this season 06 and I ll be ready for 2007 ;)

Thank You Hitmannnnnnnnnnnnn, Bilbooooooooooooo and AAronnnnnnnnnnnnn for the birthday wishes. :)

Indeed AARON the pressure you were putting on me was AMAZING!!!!!
It was the best battle I had all season an to my surprise I was able to keep my car on track during this battle...LOL

I watched the replay and I was amazed at how close we were lap after lap with little or no mistakes, for me it was very exciting to watch. :)
I look forward to it again in 07.....I'LL BE READY FOR IT!!!!!

SORRY STEVE-OOOOOOOOOOOOOO for that muscle pass I was just so nervous at the time AAron was pushing hard. I will practice to have more patients for next season.

Happy 42nd Birthday Steve B.
Since I am half a year older than you I should be able to call you...a young whippersnapper...hahahahaha....LOL ok maybe not...I was a bit nervous as well when the race started but after the first straight stretch...I realized I had way too much downforce....bummer....but for sure Steve B(and your ferarri teamate Aaron)...the ferraris really picked up the pace towards the end of the year...That for sure made me trust side by side driving with you guys and made this year very enjoyable.Happy Birthday again Steve B.This year in general was a banner year for the ferrari team. You should be quite happy m8.
