Since no one had started one.. :D

First of all, good race and congrats to tackman, t.k. and samy!!

Quick update on Arrows and my race.

Just to give you an idea of what a shitty day it all turned out to be... :)
After having done extensive physical tests all day in Stockholm I got onto a train at 16:30 to get back in time for the race. All the plans were full. Its a 50 min flight, the train got in at 22:15. I got up to Tackmans just in time to post two hotlaps. Knackered from the tests and the 7 hour train ride (on which I couldnt sleep) a sat down by the computer ready to kick some JARDAN (hehe) ass!!! ...only to discover that there was no sound.
Have you guys ever tried driving with no sound? It boarderlines to impossible.

I was extremly lucky to post 6th time, I had no controll what so ever.

LG had a great strategy worked out. He prepared a fourth time to be able to stay out of the way and pick up the pieces to win when the jordans and the McLaren of SamyPho was gonna have a rookie crash and bin it in the first corner. Hehe...unfortunatly the tables turned quickly and the ever failing Arrows launch controll cought both me an LG out!
LG's car stalled for no reason whatsoever (LG, this is the official story ok...STICK TO IT!) and in an effort to help my team mate to get going I had to hit him...hehe, oh my god... It worked out but we both lost several positions, I think I was 9th or 10th.

Then on lap 5 or 6 my sound packed in again!!!!!!!!! FU-KING USELESS FU-KING  PIECE OF SH-T FI-KING :x CR-AP KICK YOU :( OUT AND SMASH YOU  UP WITH A SLEDGE HAMMER MOTHER-UCKER....AAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHH.. :!: :!: :!: :!:

Puh..well, had to do the remaining 22 laps or so with no sound. So that was 2000+ laps of testing at Australia down the drain.

For some reason, both me and LG came through to finish 4th and 5th in the end. With that in mind I feel ok, rookie race and all.

Next time jordan...next time...
no serious, very good and clean driving!! Congrats!

Oh killa, good scrap. Sorry you where executed, looked a bit nasty.

McLaren #2, Killahead race report:

Well, I did ok at the qualifying. I calculated on an 8th-9th position and ended up 7th so that was good. But the never-ending mechanical failures (yeah right! ) for the Arrows team forced me to bring my car to the grass right after the start since I had both of them infront of me.....my god.....

I got away "clean" (...well) and had Alx behind me for a lap or so, then he passed me and Lavvy (oh oh) closed in behind me. To my surprise Alx made a mistake in the 4th last corner and I could pass him just to make a mistake myself in the 3rd last corner so he could sneak by and its here the accident happens. Im getting back into my racing line following Alx into the last tight left hander, I break a little earlier cause Im still to far to the left and Lavvy comes up from behind and bumps into me.....doesnt look like a big hit but the McLaren crew could not fix it and that was the end of my day.....on lap 4....

It was not rekless driving by Lavvy, racing incident. No hard feelings Lavvy.....

:D :D :D I FEEL GOOD,dodododdu,now when i got it,dodododu

Came away pretty good but did a poor downshift to neutral into first corner, that maybe disturbed SIGMA a bit, sorry!

Then it just did go my way,had a little missunderstanding with ALX right after the pitstop and was afraid I would loose the lead, but i t worked out fine.

A REALLY GOOD RACETIP:turn off the HUD,then you can concentrate on the racing, helped me a LOT.

Feel sorry for Mark and Killa who got rammed.

Killa is a very nice and calm person,so he describes mine(JAPAN) and Lavvys missileINtheASS shunts for race accidents...we all still have much to learn about racing and the most important thing(I think) is to be cool(and most difficult) in moments when there is a little trouble for cars ahead,if you stay calm in these situations you will probably almost all the time get the upperhand out of next corner or at least a oppurtunity to get a fine slipstream.

i will myself try to live after all the "good " advices i post here :)

Yours truely
tackman

Hey all,

Wanted to first apologize for my tardiness for the first race. My time schedule for the world is not correct. Wrote the time down so it won't happen again.

Last season I had 7 stall out races and 3 disconnections. This season seems to be starting out like the same. I pull up slowly to the line and take my foot off the gas attempting to roll to the line but there was one critical thing I forgot. Yes, you guessed it, push the clutch button Mitch to keep the engine going. Well thats what happens when your 42 and doing way to many drugs (short term memory thing).

I guess I will start practicing with clutch on. That might help.
