HELP!!

Post by Ferdi »

Hi guys,

I got major problems with my game..

My game is allways going back to desktop. I tried everything!!! (install/reinstall etc. etc...).

Here's my setup.
AMD/Athlon 1800 XP+
256 DDR ram
Geforce 2 GTS, 64 Mb
Mainbord: K7 Master-S (MS-6341) (because this is an old mainbord my CPU runs on 1500 MHz...).
Microsoft Sidewinder FF USB wheel.

I have a lot other programs installed (Photoshop, Premiere, Frontpage, Flash MX etc...).

Sometimes I get the message after re-run F1C that there is no DirectX found! In that case I allways have to re-install DirectX 9. But after some laps (could be after 5 minutes or 1 hour) my game freezes to desktop again!

I will be VERY happy when one of you could give me a tip about this.

Thx and greetz,

Yes, and you deserved to get yelled at! :-)

Win9x is utter crap, not worthy of any respect at all.

Windows 2000 has been out 3+ years, so there is NO excuse for running crap like Win9x.

You just know my answer..... W98se...

So this would be the problem??

I had the same problem with F12002....

So XP proffesional would solve my problem?

No WinXP (home or pro) will probably not solve your problem. But it will prevent such problems from developing in the fist place. :-)
