I am not so sure about this appraoch you have taken with this Limpy. I never gave the go ahead for released 106, so very suprised to see this released all of a sudden.
I had a list of things to do and there are bugs in it I found already. I was away a lot last week so simply did't get time to review as we had agreed before release, instead you have just gone ahead. The engine is still wrong too, not something I would have agreed to for final release. Also, I don't like the way you have mixed in 1.05. I am sure that is for nar convenience as far as I can see.
I had asked to be involved with nar and get access to the private area so I could help out and get feedback directly during testing but I was never even contacted by a mod here while doing the work, suffice it say building the mod for and around nar use did not become a priority in my book as it seemed somewhat rude considering the work that has gone into to it on my part.
I doubt you would have acquired permission for the remainder of what is outstanding as we discussed per email, but I am not going to spell that out. If there is any fallout from this I can now not clain any responsibility, that is down to you. As for supporting the mod.
btw you got the spelling of my surname still wrong on the logo. Borro not Barro.
I'll have a think about things but basically it has been rushed out and this is not good. I find it also somewhat disrepectful towardss me and the modellers that made some of the content, basically doing as you see fit.
Sorry for a gloomy post on this board but it find this behaviour quite unacceptable, so felt had to make my stance and feeling clear on this matter.

Hi Afboro, about the access to private section, i had the mail and post in admin section but i think we didnt discuss since i post it in a already created thread, and i think it got lost. Sorry.
Anyway, about the 1.06 mod, all discussion was done in public thread i think (i will check that to see if im right) just like we did for Relay to ensure that concern programer can dabate with us. That was probably the reason why you didnt got access to privated section, since we agree recently that only active driver will get private access. We have all track post there, and we cant share with any out of league, we dont have permission other than internal league use. Im shure you understand and respect that.
I wont talk for limpy about the fast release of mod. But one thing, It was not requested by NAR. I think, as you can see, NAR (and another league i think) are the one using alot F1Championship. Limpy know that our season is comming to an end in 2 races, and he probably wanted us to use it and fully test it in real race situation. Aftrer that its off winter season untill march next year. So his mod wont be that mutch promote by us. Its not a bad idea from limpy, but now since only 2 races are left, we are getting comment of driver and admin maybe run a poll unless we feel that majority dont want to switch. Up to now we are a little confuse if its in best interest to switch or not.
The mod is awsome again, nice car, nice feeling of driving, Honestly i cant wait to use it. But we may need to consider your comment and wait for limpy if he have something to say about all this.

OK. Thanks for that reply for a start. That's something to get going at least. if it is just something that got lost forgotten about the access. Don't get the wrong Idea about NAR, or that I have anything against NAR, or that NAR pushed the release. I now believe that is solely driven by Limpy, but having done a lot of the conversion stuff and the mod ended up being mostly what I started for personal use I would have liked for it to have been handled better by Limpy than this. bearing in mind what I said in the above post.
But let me refrain from any futher bickering here, we can exchange over email or best in the private area if that can be arranged.

To be clear, NAR admins had determined a "window of opportunity" (which was very likely relayed to Limpy) for having a mod/version switch happen but, other than that, there was no official mandate for anyone to apply any pressure on Limpy or anyone. I'm sure most will understand that we would not switch mod/versions for the last race only...

Ok thanks for clearing that up. Don't have a problem with the access. I am happy to discuss things here as there is nothing to hide as far as I am concerned. I updated Limpy with a mail and he will continue with the mod I am sure. I am also busy working on something else, so now no longer have the same time I can prioritise towards the F1 champions mod, however as I have left it with him as it is now he can use what I have contributed. Personally I would like to have seen things addressed and done differently before a release.
Anyway, the main thing I suppose, of you a enjoy it as it is that can't be a bad thing
As for joining I am far too much enjoying CTDP at the moment I must admit and mainly driving that, so not right now, but if I get bored with that. it is something I wouldn't mind doing at all, albeit it doesn't always fit well with working in weekends at times. so wont be able to make it, but that may change in the future.
