Read it HERE (F1-Live). NOTE: This link is probably good only for today.

Now, Kimi and Alonso together would make a very powerful team! 8)

Edit: More official and permanent link HERE (Formula1.com).

Actualy, his technical director woud of prefer him to stay, but he understand his choice. He says that Alonzo is with Renault since 5 years, and need of new chalenge is normal, so McLaren will give him a different "thrill".

the latest rumours i heard is that renault is gonna stop with f1 in the next few years thoug :? I cant realy believe it actualy but well f1 is a strange world sometimes.

All i know is that this deal is also good for flavio because his talent can make a big deal and he gets money as well for this because he is manager. And if im right Alonso's contract will end after this season anyway so i guess mclaren has made a better offer to him then renault. Infact i think his next talent heiki kovalainen will land Alonso's seat in 2007

Still i was verry suprised yesterday when i readed this news. But i think this is a good move by mclaren, 2 championship contenders in one team 8) just like the senna prost days
