Do you all use automatic tramsmision or standard?
If you feel you're gonna lose it, push that clutch button and give some gas, you just might save a stall. Otherwise, if you're still going maybe 15-20 kph, you can restart the engine "on compression" by pressing the clutch, downshifting to 1st (or reverse if going backwards) and releasing the clutch. At some tracks, you can even use the terrain slope to get the needed speed for a restart even if you had almost stopped the car.
Just so you know motion ,
I don't use a clutch button at all.I use a neutral button. When I feel i am going to spin I just hit it quick.Great for when you come in for pitstops too.
Just the way I have done it for 3 years now on f1c.

Thanks for the good info guys!...I have been getting used to just hitting
the clutch button on the left top of the steering wheel ...I'll get it so its second nature, besides I don't spin much anymore.
Another dumb question for you all....Can you upshift and downshift without tearing up the tramsmission?
And does anyone remember what their lap times are @ monza?
Thanks again!

You can use either a clutch or neutral button but, personnaly, I prefer using the clutch button as it is released "more smoothly" (and that can even be configured to your liking) than going from neutral to 1st. That's especially useful when you're offtrack on the grass or in the sand, makes it that much easier to get going without needlessly spinning the wheels...

Well i never broke my transmission, but damage are set to normal, so do a normal use of it. You can try test session on a 100% race and be hard on it, youl see if you loose it or not before finishing line. The most important are duk brake and Radiator size, those 2 things can ruined a race easily. Too low, engine blow and you loose brake, but to high, your safe, but slower (brake pressure also influence health of brake).
Make a good compromise, fast and 75% chance of DNF or slow and 75% of finishing your race.
