When I read that my first thought where SteveB has to go back to the drawing board
All that work he did.
What is next Silver stone is going back to the old config
Sorry for laughing I know it is not funny
It is a lot of work so on that I feel real bad SteveB.
But the new Sakir just sucked so I am happy about that change anyway.
Man the millions they spent doing all that only to say ahh bad idea lets go back to the other
Ruben
I might not be fast, But I am ahead of you.

Actually, for Bahrain, that layout has been there for some time before they decided to use it for Formula 1 in 2010. They were just running other racing series on it (that's how it got the name of "Endurance layout" in opposition to the (old) "GP layout"). So there wasn't much new money spent for that change specifically for F1, AFAIK. They had and will still continue to have the other series on the Endurance layout.
SteveB, maybe just move the roadblocks to block the new section?

Oh no worries Hitman and Bilbo I agree with both of you.
I am happy they got rid of that section too.
Indeed Bilbo I will remove the cement barriors and put cones along the entrance to the
OLD section.....lol
This fix won't take long at all.

Yay !!!! The new layout blew for sure, glad they're going back to the old one....I just hope the track they build in Austin will be a good one. We'll see in 2 years eh?
I may be slow, but at least I'm consistantly slow !
