3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 3 MB shared L2 cache
1 TB Serial ATA hard drive (7200 RPM)
4 GB installed RAM (1066 MHz DDR3
ATI Radeon HD 4670 graphics processor (with 256 MB of GDDR3 memory)
I figured it was time to upgrade, my current imac has served me well for 4 years. Looking forward to that hard drive space.

Nice! That should give you some room for all those trackside photos and videos!

Guys since I'll be doing a fresh windows install on it in boot camp, what do you recommend, stick with XP or Windows 7? I really only use windows for rfactor and maybe ripping dvds once in a while.

Cant say, im using XP on my mac and works fine for me, but i only use it for Rfactor and 2-3 other simple application. Ask those who are using window7, they may comment about it, i think there is a thread in the forum about using the new window7.
You may want to use more option with that magic mouse, you can use up to 4 fingher touch option instead of the few basic option. Its a menu tab application. Have fun.

I can't help much on this as I'm still gaming on XP (at home). I have Win7 at work and it's good but even after roughly 6 months of daily usage, I still think that some of the GUI changes have not been for the better (but I gotta admit to not being one who's easily impressed by flashy GUIs so YMMV). But overall, it works very well for office work and playing good old
UT99 at lunchtime!

I really want to give 7 a try but from what I've read apple hasn't released drivers for it yet, which means the fans won't go fast enough to keep it cool, in gaming anyway.

Lol, that's probably the first time that Apple fans are not "cool"!
