I want to know where Ferrari gets all of their money.
Well Ferrari
Is a famous if not infamous  and get money for just showing up to race's.
In most cases they make money racing not lose it.

Take F1 for instants
Because they win they get the Constructors money plus they are getting the extra 80 million (I think that is what it was) a year. plus now it was found out that they get another 40 million and a veto vote in the FIA ruling body. Plus they get all the monies from there Sponsors Marlboro bridgestone and countless others. I would think that they make money as in a profit

Where Honda and Toyota don't win races so they are sinking money in to the car but not bringing anything in. or not as much.
So Toyota has 100 million budget but (I would guess) more then half comes out of the Toyota corporate office.

Hitman 8)

News paper AS and Marca said that 8 teams are organizing a parallel championship to F1. Up to now, 8 teams with 3 drivers per team. Monaco Jerez, Indianapolis, Sylverstone and Imola are interested to hold their race. Again, from the newspaper, Alonzo, Hamilton and Kimi would folow them...

Is that all true? Could be, we will see, because FIA said they wont change their mind.

PARIS -- FIA president Max Mosley reached a deal Wednesday to stop eight rebel Formula One teams forming a breakaway series and says he will not now stand for re-election.

Mosley ceded to the Formula One Teams Association's insistence that a voluntary 40-million pound (C$75.8 million) budget cap from next season would be scrapped.

Instead a watered down agreement over cost-cutting was agreed by Mosley and the FOTA members -- Ferrari, McLaren, BMW Sauber, Renault, Toyota, Red Bull, Toro Rosso and Brawn GP.

"There will be no split. We have agreed to a reduction of costs," Mosley said. "There will be one F1 championship, but the objective is to get back to the spending levels of the early '90s within two years."

Mosley said the deal still maintains the "financial viability" of teams which he had been targeting with the initial cap. As part of the agreement, existing teams must help new outfits with their engines and chassis.

LMAO............. I hope so to Fred.

I can't believe all this crap that is going on.
No wonder NASCAR has so many fans they don't have to hear and read all of this nonsense nor do the drivers/teams have to
put up with rule changes year after year.
