My rF1 server is up with the mod and tracks from the above links. All the tracks and cars from there are currently in the loop/allowed on the server until the track order is decided.

The server is called "NAR Summer Events 2012". Admin password is "nar", no join password. IP Address (as at the time of this post): 66.130.28.141

Please PM me or post here if you have problems connecting to the server.

I'm taking the first red/black Tenzo Audi TT!

The cockpit, tv and nosecam views are now allowed. Let me know if there are any more tweaks needed.

Not to whine, but since these are 45 min races, why use 4x tyre wear, and 5x fuel usage?, just make a mandatory pit stop..
I may be slow, but at least I'm consistantly slow !

I'm personally open to anything as long as most participants agree on the settings since these races are mostly for fun...

To get things going, I suggest maybe having a practice session on a well-known or easy-to-learn track so we can shake down the settings and compare our setups. I'd suggest one of Brianza, Imola, Brands Hatch or Curitiba. Just some practice with maybe some mini-races (5-10 laps or so) if we're enough.

We could do it this Saturday (June 9th, real F1 qualy @ Montreal should be over before we begin, if you're watching it live) or next one (16th) if it fits better for everyone. Same time as for previous "combined divisions" events (4PM EDT/10PM CET, CLICK HERE IF UNSURE ABOUT THE TIME!)

Please post your preferences, suggestions, agreement or comments...

My father (who lives with me) has invited my grandmother for supper tonight so I probably won't be able to do much more than a quick connect just to say hello. The server is ready as "NAR Summer Events 2012". Admin password is "nar'.

Hi there. We're running THIS (or trying to).

Let's do the 1st official event on June 30th @ Brands Hatch, same time as practice (links above), everything at 1x with 1 mandatory pitstop. If someone is interested and can't make it, please post here and we'll see if we postpone the event (I know that's a long weekend here in Canada). If you're not interested, please post here too so we don't waste our time and maybe start looking for something else (suggestions welcome).

YES, it is at 1PM Vancouver time on June 30th

I haven't practiced much myself but I found the basic car setup to be pretty good, compared to other mods that are just undriveable until you do major tweaks to the car. I have yet to modify the base setup, and I don't plan on doing anything very significant to it for the race so good work there from the mod author(s). 8)

Hello my old friends, how are you guys doing these days. I see it has become a bit less active in here no F1 season this year as well?? Shame but i realy hope you guys doing well, i actualy lost the link to this forum so i havent been here since what,.... late 2010 i guess not sure cant remember but i finaly found the link back and thought lets hop in and see what you guys up to here. :D

I have moved to a new job in 2010 and i have to say its going great so far, learning lots of new stuff in the Audio Visual world and getting to see some great locations like the airports, nuclear powerplants, traffic control centres, harbours and loads more. Personal life is going well to building a new house atm or atleast plans made for it, but just got to realise it yet.

Anyway just wanted to say hi to you all and let you guys know im doing fine, i hope everyone else is fine to. I might try to join the 30th for some racing, would be realy cool to drive some laps with my old friends again.
Regards,
Mark Aalberts
