Hi all,
downloading the final version of f1rft 2011 nfinal and trackpack now.
Hope to have a server up soon

HI everyone.
Server is up at 25 mb down and 2 mbs up.
No aids and rotating tracks.I was unable to get trackpack 2 so far.
HAve a happy holidays rfactor central has the download.

Thanks for the info and the server.

I'm downloading it all right now (some track pack 2 links were pointing to pack1, be careful and watch the filenames before downloading!), will try to install it later today.

Better get it (from RFC) while it's hot as the usual accusations of stolen stuff are flying already (not from the authors of the presumably stolen stuff so take it with a grain of salt) and I wouldn't be surprised if it were removed soon (temporarily or not) as happened often in previous years.

hi all,
steve is right about the car locking up easy.it is squirrely under braking as well.
i expected better out of this mod really as the car seems to light at time.
the actual powerband on the engine is a little too high and running low downforceis tough.
it is a challenge but setup changes are decent and effective.
again it is like driving on ice and i dont have much confidence when mashing the throttle out of a corner.
rft has always been like that though and seperates the men from the boys.
thats my thoughts so far....merry christmas everyone..

Well,
I shut the server down because I tried all day to get kers and drs to work to no avail.
I think I have had enough of this mod.

there is a way to use the Kers and DRS, but its a bit complicated, i think it wil be a pain to use, unless some 1 sort it out to explain, or to make it ready to use.
i like to Race with out the kers, DRS might be fun but we need to see how it all gonna work.

I wonder if the DRS zones are done properly on track and entered properly in the mod.

i think its the plugin that is complicating things.
i wonder if we could just r the mod without the addons.
i find it confusing to use drs and kers as i have used it on f1 2011.
i imagine i could get used to it but it sure complicates things.i finally got the trackpack 2 in it.
i will put up the server tonight and leave it up.
its up to you if you want to use the plugins.

just installed the mod and kers a drs works fine (on server too).
I tried in practice only not in race. To let them work u must use the same button in game and in "rfdynhud_editor" (in plig in folder).
Kers=temp boost
drs=hand brake
for kers just set a button for it in rfactor and it will work.
for drs set a button for hand brake in rfactor and set the same button in the editor in the plug in folder . remember to save before exit editor.
don't know why but i read to launch the editor in admin mode.

PS:
only with g25 all work fine , but if i use a second controller too, i am no more able to let them work correctly.

i found this better explain of how to set kers and drs:


The correct work of DRS/KERS the next frameworks required:
Java
Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable x86
DiectX 9.0c

KERS’s and DRS’s required settings: (To display the DRS and the KERS we recommend the rfDynHUD, which is included in the game)

1. Display in rfDynHUD:
- Start the „\Plugins\rfdynhud\editor\rfdynhud_editor_launcher.exe” as administrator.
- „Tools” menu: „Edit Input Bindings”
- The „TempBoost” row: same button which will be KERS in the rFactor and The „DRS Action” row: fixed to the keyboard’s „H”-key
- File menu: „Save” or „CTRL+S”


2. The DRS’s and KERS’s settings in the rFactor:
- "KERS/Temporary Boost" same as in the rfDynHUD.
- "Headlight" have to be "H" key.
- "DRS/Handbrake" the DRS button. Any button could it be.


After this you could use DRS and KERS in the F1RFT 2011 Final mod.

In the F1 2011 DRS TrackPack on every track the beginning of DRS zone is displayed. You could use the DRS in race session after 2 laps completed. If Safetycar is on the track(Full Curse Yellow Flag) then the DRS is disables automaticly and the DRS will be available after 2 laps. I you switched off the DRS than you can't switch back on in the zone again. The DRS and KERS work according to the FIA regulations.

Cheers drago nice to hear from u again :D

I have got it working at last you have to use the buttons on the g25 wheel (If u got a g25 wheel) as it wont work with any other buttons from another source if your main wheel is g25.
I also use buttons from a momo wheel and and old joystick which i have as dashboard and a button plate on the g25 wheel. When i use any of them buttons the game will crash.

All I have to do now is figure out how to get rid of all the crap on the screen hud whilst on track to much being displayed !!! :roll:

sounds like a good explanation.i am in vancouver this week but
left my son to keep the server up.any problems just messgage here and i will see it.

I deleted every plugins which FRT instaled on my disk. And now it works perfectly :)

Hi guys.
I get back from Vancouver only to find the final 1.0 f1rft has an update.
How sad is that.Way to go Sompir.
I'll install it later today after I get back from shopping.

damn...getting an error opening the rfhud launcher.
still not able to use kers and drs but got the car setup working ok.
even reinstalling didnt help.
may have to reinstall windows 7

I uninstalled it, can't load tracks with other mods if i have this one installed....

That is odd looks like all the track files have different names although the track folder names seem to be
the standard track names we all use, maybe that's causing your problem Steve-oooooOOOOooooOOOOoooooo :D :D

first u need JAVA to be installed.

F1RFT 2011 FINAL
KERS and DRS Settings.
The included plugin works only with original „rFactor.exe” (2 210 305 B)!
On Windows 7 and Vista thr rFactor stop working over 20-24 players/AIs. The reparation of the rfactor.exe will be available after the installation of the "F1RFT2011 final". (rFactor\F1RFTData\rFactor.exe) On Windows XP the rFactor works correctly!
On 32 bit version of Windows 7 an :
„Start menu\Programs\Accessories\Command line (CMD) have to be runned as Administrator
and have to type:
bcdedit /set IncreaseUserVa 3072
After a restart the rFactor will work correctly over 24 player/AIs.
A DRS/KERS megfelelő működéséhez az alábbi környezet szükséges:
- Java
- Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable x86
