P/S

How about 1strace = 20min
then 2nd race =20 mins { But winner of 1st race is last and last is 1st on starting grid } reverse grid anyway just a thought
This will be good if we have 20 drivers on start, but we have 6-7, so for me it's unnecessary...

TODAY Automotodrom Brno!!!

The idea is not without merit but, as Peter said, given the current grid size, it wouldn't change much as the faster drivers would most likely still be at the front after a couple of laps or so.

Given the way things have gone so far, you can see the qualy session as a 30 minutes race into itself. I think everyone has someone of similar speed/time to "race" against, which is very cool.

The race today will be 25 laps (~50 minutes) similar to Potrero de los Funes unless there's a unanimous consent from the drivers present at the event to change things (as usual).

Sorry for crashing on lap 4 and leaving you guys to race alone. I went a bit wide exiting a turn, spun, hit the wall on the other side of the track and lost a front wheel. I managed to bring the car back to the pits on 3 wheels but the team did not want to touch the car. :(

At least it was good while it lasted... 8)

P.S.: Results will be posted later.

Here is the fix for the crashing Curitiba track from the track pack. Extract and overwrite the file of the same name in "<rFactor>\GameData\Locations\01Curitiba\Curitiba06\".

There is a problem with my (very old) personal web server that I use to host the logs and replay files so these are unavailable for now. All was fine earlier this evening when I uploaded the files after the race but now one of the disks apparently died (ironically the "newest" one that I added this summer as we filled up the original 4GB disk) but given that it's past midnight as I write this, I'll try to look into it tomorrow rather than make things worse right now. To be continued... (I do have better places to host the files if it comes to that, this was just the most practical for me.)

I have restored service for the Summer Events files (both replays and log files needed for the race reports) on a temporary web server (which is at the same address as before so old URLs still work). Let me know if you have any issues.

The race @ Donington has been postponed to next week, October 15th, due to lack of participants (only 3).
