Dont worry Rubens,
We know how busy your life is and we appreciate you starting up the winter events.
Even if you can't make it.One day you might catcha break and race with us.
Until then, there will always be a porsche in the livery waiting for you...
Good luck young man...

Reminder: Next event is this Sunday - 75 minutes race @ Monaco.

While we all know this track, you may want to practice it a bit as the braking points are quite different from F1! (but at least the Porsches can take a major beating before blowing up  ).

The server replay and results files for Winter Event #4 (Monaco) can be downloaded here:

Race results: http://nar.kicks-ass.org:8086/narresult ... o_Logs.zip (we skipped qualy)
Replays: http://nar.kicks-ass.org:8086/narresult ... eplays.zip (race replays only)

We skipped qualifications and went straight to a few 10-laps races due to lack of participation. Races that were restarted are not included in the files above, only the complete ones were kept.

Thanks to Mr.G, Carrera and Coffeemachine for their participation. That was some fun and close racing! 8)

well, that was a whole lot of fun....
Wheel to wheel racing and thank god the porsches can put up with a lot of beating and banging.
Hard to get around without hitting something but it still was a blast.

Reminder: The next (and most likely last) winter event is tomorrow: 60 minutes (or 10 laps) @ Mid-Ohio.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to participate but the server will be ready even if I'm not there.

Oh, okay, I see now. My IP address has changed this week (after about 5 years of being the same) so that's why the server did not show up in "Friends".
Time to update that bookmark! The server's new IP address is "74.56.88.38". Hopefully it will stay like that for as long as it did before!

As for my server not showing up in the in-game server browser, make sure you have raised the "Concurrent Server Updates" in your "multiplayer.ini" file (and remember to raise it again if you reinstall rF!). Mine is set to 800 but some sites recommend setting it to 1000 or even 2000 (the default value is like 40 or 100). It affects the number of servers you see in the server list. If you still don't see all servers on the first try, it increases the chances of seeing them on a refresh.

Guys, don't hesitate to write something or PM me when things don't work. I just quit at 2PM as I was alone on the server and there was nothing in the forum. Had I known, I'd have tried a few things to make it work (and probably would have catched earlier about the change of IP address).

I was just on the server and all was fine except the replay. Not the replay from the fridge, but when you go back to the garage and you see it from the main screen. It was flashing, like trying to show 2 things at once.

It's possible that some of the TV cameras require adjustments.

Another thing. The car looks very stretched out from the cockpit view. I mean the wheels and front end look like they are a mile away even moving my seat all the way up. It's like I'm too far away from the steering wheel.
