Hello

I would definatly be up for a bit of fun with the V8 supercars, mayby on a few australian tracks like Adelaide Barthust Surfers paradise etc. :) And mayby do something like a short sprint race and main race where starting order will be the reversed results from the sprint race.? Just throwing up a ball.

thats a really sweet idea!
Yea it do's sound like it would be fun in those V8 I have watched a few of there real life races and man those dudes are nuts in those beasts.
So I am really up for anything I just want to have some great races and a lot of fun.

The only thing I would say is the short sprint races after changing the running order is (Could be a pain) there is away to do it but it never works right in game.
Via a admin short cut I dont remember the code off hand but I will look it up.

If we use those V8 cars, someone will have to give me a set up, I can't make those sleds turn, haha
I may be slow, but at least I'm consistantly slow !

Well use youre trottle to let them turn

Anyway mayby mix up both mods 2 or 3 races with the V8's and the same for the Porsche mod as well should fill up the winter schedule i guess. :)
As for the grid issue, is it not possible to set grid manual?? I thought this was possible trough manual grid selection??

Grid editing works with "/editgrid" (see the rF readme) but, in addition to being a bit of a pain, you have to remember to start setting the positions from the pole going down if you don't want to mess things up.

yo

I was cleaning out the closet and found my old racing shoes, decided to try if they'd work with the g25...then i thought i'd take a look at what the hell im doing...then it looked quite cool so i uploaded it :) - A winter racing promo!

So, this was with the Porches. And well..they seem insanely fast, too fast :) ...or rather, really good on the brakes. I found it a bit tricky to manage the downshifts, felt like you might as well skip a few downshifts in some places just cause they come so close to each other .. i dont know, anyone else using the stick? I found i lost around half a second a lap at the short silverstone configuration compared to the paddles, and i normally its close to nothing. Dont know...more resistance in the brake pedal would help for sure, difficult to be so precise. Oh, and never mind 6th gear on that fiddly shifter - its hopeless haha
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_NqlYw-BTGA

Anyway, it was a long time since i pulled the leaver out - it feels like this is the way to go simracing :D This is the way i'll be going about the winter season, so please mind the guy missing gears lol :)

Hello

Nice vid
are you useing the clutch peddle also I could not tell.
I was planning on using the shifter too as if not then I will never use it if not with one of these mods. But I was going to ask if we could have clutch assit for the winter.

But I will try either way but yea the shifter is the way to go.

And what racing shoes do you have I race in my socks.

haha i use socks too, i just tried it this once - they have padding on the right side of the right foot which kinda helps whith heal-toeing in real cars.. not so much with the computer i found out :D

Yeah ruben, its kind of a mess but i used the left foot for the clutch and the right foot to brake and blip the throttle at the same time...and some left foot braking when there are no gearshifts going on

Couldnt resist some heel toe ing action  Loaded on the V8s at Bathurst and yeah to be honest this was the first time that im actualy doing this heel toe stuff so meaning on each gear change using the clutch. Anyway at first i was overshooting the corners everytime also because i found out its pretty hard to brake wiht the right foot whilest with F1 t ype of mods im used to brake with left leg. Anyway after some laps i got the hang of it and with the V8's i have done a 2.11.8xx so far, what time can you get at Bathurst Kaffe?? im interested so see if this is any good or not.

Hello Gent's
Sorry I have had comp issues had to get a new MB and install and reinstall everything.
So have not been able to get to this
But and this is a big But
There do's not seem to be that much entrust in this.
Not to be a a-hole or anything but not sure it is worth the time with only 4 or 5 guys even showing any entrust.

So I don't know if it is worth it
If you have any entrust at all please give us a heads up.

Again I say the above with respect not tring to be a A-Hole.

I'm not participating much in the discussion but it's very likely that I will race (and possibly host) whatever is agreed upon (if any). I might not attend all events but (at this time) I plan on attending most, so count me in.

Hello Gent's
All good then
I will get things setup then
Mod:
I am still between the 2 shown up there the
Porsches that are fun and easy to setup and race
or
The V8 bad a..s are little more challenging but hey this is NAR right
But yet this is meant for fun and not to be killing our selves.

Tracks I am going to pick some great tracks in NA and some great tracks in Europe

Schedule the first week end after the ROC and every other week until what February would that work.
and of course no races on Christmas or New years.

Thanks guys
