FFB

Post by Peter Sojda »

Someone use any FFB plugin for RFT 2009 ? I use default rfactor FFB without any plugins. I don't know it's good or not so maybe you can show your idea for great FFB in rfactor ? :D

I have Momo racing. It would be nice when someone show his controller.ini or other settings :)
In Windows I have:
-Overall effects strenght - 100%
-Spring effects strenght - 98%
-Damper effects strenght- 96%
-Enable centering - 0%

Sorry for my poor english ;p

i have g25

everything set to 100%
center spring set to 0%

and FFB in game set to 20%

i want to be able to turn the wheel without the resistance, easier to catch all the snap oversteer if you can move the wheel fast :)

as for robz and the "you need to work out comments", i do believe f1 cars have power steering good enough and setupable enough to be really light and smooth :)

its on! :P

I use leo ffb plugin as it removes the dead zone problem on the g25 also find it much smoother feel.

-Overall effects strenght - 100%
-Spring effects strenght - 47%
-Damper effects strenght- 26%
-Enable centering - 100%

My in game ffb is set to - 56 as coffeemachine said less resistance when catching snaps :D

After a lot of tests, using the G25 :

in the windows control panel :
rotation angle 278 degrees
overall strength (or sometin similar) 105 %
enable centering effect for games using force feed back but set it to 0%
and enable games to change settings.

In the game using both Leo and realfeel plugins (set ratio to 70 or 60% using ctrl+1 or 3 ingame) :
force feedback effects low
force feedback strength -47%

very important to set speed sensitivity rate to 0% then you will need to adjust steering ratio in your setup.

Could you share your Leo ini settings please? I've just put the plugin into my plugins folder.

I don't have the G25 I have the Logitech Driving Force GT. So I'll just see how it goes.

I've been using this and I'm very happy with the results: http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php ... 840&page=1.
It feels 100 times better than the default FFB. I'm not sure whether it would work for other wheels as it has been specifically designed for the G25. The problem I had with Realfeel and Leo was that they seem difficult to configure correctly and I couldn't find any information on whether they work correctly with F1RFT09.
