if u miss 2 Races without making a Notice, u will loose ure Seat, it means that u will have to wait till some

1 else drop out so u can get a Seat to Race.

Here u can make a Notice so Admin now that u not gonna be Racing,
http://forumserver.zapto.org/NAR/viewto ... f=3&t=2299

Or send a PM to Neo or MrG.

If u dont show up 2 Races with out telling or make a notice, ure Seat will go to some 1 else if they ask for

it.

So if u want to keep ure Seat u have to make a notice and let now u out for the coming Race,

Neo and Mr G 8)

About the tracks. I know you put in a lot of effort in making tracks for us Steve, and I think we all appreciate it, but this is something we should reconsider in my opinion.
We have a lot of drivers filling up the seats now in the off season who say they are interested in driving next year, but after some races we are down to like 6-8 drivers in every race anyways. And if we use these special tracks, there is no way for people to join the servers and practice with us.
I think we should use public tracks next year to increase the chance of getting more drivers, plus I think there are perfect versions out there of every track already. The new 2009 F1 RFT trackpack is a good example of that.
I think a vote would be good here.

If I am not mistaken the RFT trackpack used some of the tracks we use and I think I had edited most of them.

I will check.

I don't care if you use my tracks or not but I can tell you my tracks are accurate, I know this because they have been checked,
so you can say what you want.

As for using public tracks....well thats up to the NEW admins and I hope they make sure they are race ready because I know
for a fact that some of them are not and I won't touch them due to permissions need to be granted by the origional creator
and I have no time chasing down these guys.

Could we not just use steve b tracks as we have been but run along side it a public server which use rft tracks and if we come across some good drivers who want to join then give them the passes to join in on the locked server which would be steve b tracks.
Steve B has put alot of effort into these tracks would be shame not to use them.

Just a thought :D

Thanks "G" :)

Another thought is these tracks should go on NAR's main website so the public can download them.

I know they will be listed on MMG's main web site for public download, but I guess that would be up to the NEW admins
to decide.

You guys seem to have easy access to servers. Well, if you do, step forward and contact an admin, a current one or those for next season. They'll be happy to talk with you.

The NAR server situation is currently as follows: I operate the Practice and NA Race server out of my home connection (located in Montreal, Canada) and Slipstream Snake operates the Euro Race server (in the UK, with mine as backup in case of problems). That's one 24/7 password-protected server and a half-a-day-per-couple-of-weeks server. That's all we have. That's enough to make ends meet but it's not like we're "swimming" in extra servers...

My own server can't currently be open to the public because of a monthly quota (10GB max upload) enforced by my ISP, about half of which is spent for the PASSWORDED Practice/NA Race server's bandwidth alone. Starting with the new year, that quota will be calculated differently by my ISP (30GB up+down total instead of independent 20GB down/10GB up quotas) and I might try to remove the password then but if the server becomes successful (and thus eat significantly more bandwidth), I'll have to put the password back.

It would be nice to have an open public server for "recruitment"/advertising/practice/all-of-the-above but that is currently not possible unless someone comes up with one. We could do with more race servers too, if only for the added safety in case of problems...

Anyways, I think this discussion should be continued in a new thread because it's getting increasingly off-topic (it's supposed to be about Euro div. seats).

I can take Vettel's Red Bull then.....

I have a friend who might join me later on and please be respectful to him.
He can't make posts however because no admin has authorized him. Can someone help?

Will we use some relay, tyka or similar program for next league (2010 league)?

Tyka seems to works very well with rfactor.

Thanks
